At Ojoba Collective, we take shea butter seriously.

We pride ourselves in producing the freshest, high quality, unrefined shea butter for our retail and wholesale customers, and the natural cosmetics industry.

Packed with naturally occurring antioxidants; our unrefined shea butter soothes and rejuvenates while it moisturizes even the driest skin. We never use any chemicals or fillers. We keep it natural - the way it’s supposed to be.

Not only is our shea butter an excellent green and sustainable alternative to commercial skin moisturizers, but we produce it in strict accordance with Fair Trade principles.

Our shea butter is handcrafted by the Ojoba Women’s Shea Cooperative, 250 rural village women in northern Ghana, West Africa. Our success has enabled the women to turn their age-old craft and indigenous knowledge into an opportunity to climb out of grinding poverty and transform their lives.

We believe that empowering the world’s disadvantaged will create a more just global society and that fair trade and sustainablity can help ease economic hardship in West Africa, giving people hope, opportunity, dignity, and equality.
