About Us

Ojoba Collective was created in 2003 as a collective of sustainable solutions for addressing complex issues facing the most marginalized globally. We use a bottom-up approach ALWAYS incorporating and valuing local knowledge in the communities we work. No solution is a sustainable solution if it does not involve the at-risk community in the implementation, experimentation, and execution of effective program development. We have a proven track record of success and one of our projects in Ghana, West Africa celebrates 20 years in 2023.

We have lived and worked in South Asia, North America, Europe, West Africa, and SE Asia. We have run a successful fair trade certified business for 20 years.
